FICCKAE has participated in important indigenous gatherings and conferences outside of Ecuador in South America. It represents the Kichwa indigenous peoples on a national and international level. The Organization gives their indigenous members a voice and encourages them to stand up for their rights. The close coordination with CONFENIAE and COICA leads to the Kichwa being represented on national and international levels.

The work with Peruvian Organization ORKIWAN allows them to work on a wider field, which benefits indigenous activism and human rights.

Yasuní National Park is an important ally, especially for aspects of integrated nature conservation.
